About The Cake Girl

Kristina Lavalee was a young girl in Puerto Rico who had a passion for sweets. Her mother taught her to cook with love using high-quality ingredients. After graduating from UCF with two bachelor’s degrees, Kristina began working in different bakeries from small local ships to wholesale giants. Kristina and her husband began attending farmers’ markets, special events, such as showers and receptions, and large corporate parties, all featuring her delectable desserts! At first, The Cake Girl was on the road in a dessert truck, then in 2019, they opened their first location in Tampa.

On the Menu

Each day, The Cake Girl features 10 miniature cupcake flavors that rotate weekly through their 62 different flavors. The Cake Girl also has 8 flavors of premium ice cream that is made with 16% butterfat, which adds to the super creamy texture. The cake shop is licensed, inspected, and insured, so you know you are getting high-quality products. The Cake Girl takes pride in offering unique creations to each and every customer!

Custom Orders

The Cake Girl has a great user-friendly form for custom orders. You can completely customize your order with flavors, icings, fillings, and amount of tiers. The Cake Girl typically responds to inquiries in three to four business days. They recommend at least a week’s notice but can be one to three weeks out if there is an influx of orders.
