Chow Down At Datz

Is your stomach growling? It’s about datz time for lunch or dinner. If you are in the Tampa area, and you’re craving quality comfort food, look no further than Datz. In 2009, Roger and Suzanne Perry started the restaurant they had always dreamt of, and ever since, multiple locations have been serving cheesy burgers, chicken and waffles benedict, peanut butter pie, and so much more. If you are ready to get a taste of excellence, keep reading to find what else is on the menu.
For Starters
Once seated at this eatery, it won’t be long before you are ready to dig into the entire menu. But first, you’ll want to give the shareable appetizers a taste. The Datchos are sweet and salty chips topped with chili and all of the toppings, from cheese to jalapeno and sour cream. Or, if you want to feel like you’re eating buffalo wings, the Buffalo Cauliflower Popcorn is meatless and drizzled in creamy ranch dressing. On the other hand, if you want to start off by engaging your sweet tooth, the pull-apart Monkey Bread is served warm and coated in vanilla icing. It’s so scrumptious you just might order another round for the dessert course.
The Main Course
For the main act, you cannot go wrong with a cheeseburger, but not to get it confused, Datz doesn’t serve just any kind of burger. If you want to skip the bun, you’ll devour the Shimburger, or if want to go meatless, the Beyond Burger will serve you just right. Although, there’s far more than just beef, as the Cluck, Yeah is stuffed with crispy chicken tenders, and the Blacked Mahi Mahi Sandwich will give you the seafood fix you’ve been craving.
Of course, there’s far more than just handhelds. From Fish N’ Chips to Eggs Barbacoa and Barry C’s Stuffed Meatloaf, which was first seen on the Travel Channel, your mouth will water by just reading the descriptions.
Save Room For Dessert
For the finale, Datz has anything from traditional chocolate cake, to an exotic key lime pie. And if you have never been a carrot cake fan, prepare for your world to be rocked, as theirs is filled with pineapple, coconut, pecans, and cream cheese frosting.
