Make Everyone’s Favorite; Garlic Bread

Sometimes, a loaf of garlic bread sounds downright mouthwatering. It’s the perfect accompaniment to all kinds of food, including some of your favorite Italian dishes. But if you’re thinking that you should buy some from your local grocery store bakery, you should probably think again. That’s because you can easily make this stuff at home – without even breaking the budget. It’s easy, inexpensive, and most importantly, delicious. So, what are you waiting for? Learn how you can make your own garlic bread.
Gather Your Ingredients
The first step is to get all of your ingredients together. Make sure you run to the store to get whatever you don’t have. That being said, you probably have a lot of these ingredients already.
½ cup melted unsalted butter
4 grated garlic cloves
½ grated Parmesan
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup parsley
Black pepper
1 baguette or crusty bread
Mozzarella (optional)

Put it Together
This recipe is a lot easier than you might assume. First, start by setting your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. While that’s heating up, mix everything together except for the bread and the cheese (if you’re using it). Then, grab your bread and make slits into the top of the loaf. Make sure you go far enough down, so it will be easy to break the bread into pieces once it’s done cooking.
Next, work that butter mixture into the slits, being really generous. Cover the top of the bread in the butter mixture. Then, wrap it all up in aluminum foil and pop it in the oven. You’ll want to leave it there for about 15 minutes. If you’re using the optional cheese, take it out after 15 minutes, put the cheese slices into the slits in the bread, and pop it back into the oven for another five minutes.
That’s it – you’re done. Now, serve with whatever suits your fancy. Bon appetit!
